When you create an account with BucketGolf, we collect your email address and display name to identify you and allow you to share games with friends.

We collect game data including scores, strokes, penalties, and game mode selections to provide the core functionality of the app and to display your stats and history.

With your permission, we collect your approximate location (city, state, country) to display on your profile and help connect you with local players. You can deny this permission at any time in your device settings.

We collect basic device information (device model, OS version, app version) to help us troubleshoot issues and improve the app.

Your data is used to:

• Provide the BucketGolf app functionality
• Track your game history and statistics
• Enable friend requests and social features
• Display leaderboards and match results
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud) and is only accessed by the app and BucketGolf administrators for the purposes listed above.

Your display name, profile picture, and stats may be visible to other users you interact with (friends, game participants).

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app. When you delete your account:

• Your profile and personal information are permanently removed
• Your authentication credentials are deleted from Firebase
• Your game history will be disassociated from your account

BucketGolf is rated 4+ but is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.

We use the following third-party services to operate BucketGolf:

• Firebase (Google) - Authentication, database, storage, analytics
• Expo - App infrastructure and updates
